Annual Reports on the Application of the Act and the Code

The Lobbying Act, which came into force on July 2, 2008, requires that, within three months after the end of each fiscal year, the Commissioner of Lobbying table an annual report with regard to the administration of this Act before each House of Parliament.

Annual Reports on the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act

According to section 72 of the Access to Information Act, the head of every government institution must prepare an annual report on the administration of the Act within its institution at the end of each financial year, for submission to Parliament.

II) Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists

Annual Reports on the Application of the Act

The Lobbyists Registration Act, which was replaced by the Lobbying Act on July 2, 2008,required that within three months after the end of each fiscal year, the Registrar General table an annual report before each House of Parliament with regard to the administration of the Act, on any of the first fifteen days on which that House is sitting after it is received. Starting with fiscal year 2004-2005, the Annual Report on the on the Application of the Act was combined with the Annual Report on the Lobbyists' Code of Conduct into one single document.

Annual Reports on the Lobbyists' Code of Conduct

The Lobbyists Registration Act, which was replaced by the Lobbying Act on July 2, 2008, required  that within three months after the end of each fiscal year, the Registrar General table an annual report before each House of Parliament with regard to the exercise of the powers, duties and functions conferred on the Registrar in relation to the Code, on any of the first fifteen days on which that House is sitting after it is received. Starting with fiscal year 2004-2005, the Annual Report on the Lobbyists' Code of Conduct was combined with the Annual Report on the Application of the Act into one single document.
